Even though I hadn’t ridden a horse since I was a little girl and consider myself a total beginner, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity when Quinton invited April and me on a backwoods trail ride. The fall day was absolutely perfect, and there’s something truly special about exploring the stunning woods of southwest Manitoba from horseback. It felt like a whole new way of seeing the world around me. As someone who doesn’t typically follow the crowd, I loved the thrill of bushwhacking and leaving the main trail behind, which was both exciting and oddly comforting. Despite my lack of experience, I felt completely safe and at ease with Quinton and Vanessa’s expert guidance and experience.

Our recent adventure with Woodside Trail Horse Co. turned into a truly enchanting Manitoba winter evening. Snowflakes drifted gently from the sky, creating a serene, picture-perfect backdrop as we gathered around the fire. With warm drinks in hand, we reveled in the cozy atmosphere, the peacefulness of nature all around us, and the charm of Quinton’s live tunes, which added a perfect touch to an already unforgettable experience.
